Wieder oben - Up again

Nach 28 Stunden im Bus haben wir es letzte Nacht nach Quito geschafft. Die Stadt ist bisher die europäischst wirkende Gegend in Südamerika, obwohl sie ganz nah am Äquator auf knapp 3000 Metern liegt. Hier gibt es auch wieder wirklich guten Kaffee! In den nächsten paar Tagen sind wir wandern, bevor es dann weiter geht nach Kolumbien…
We spent 28 hours in the bus to get to Quito, a friendly and partly quite beautiful city directly at the equator at nearly 3000 meters above sea level. And, very important: there is really good coffee served here! The next days we will spend hiking in the highlands and then we will continue to Colombia…
