Cartagena de Indias

Wir sind nach einer weiteren recht unbequemen Langstreckenbusfahrt am nächsten Ziel angekommen: Cartagena im Norden Kolumbiens. Hier an der Karibikküste ist schon eine andere Welt als in den Anden mit bunteren Menschen, hohen Temperaturen und lauwarmem Meer. Die Stadt ist teils wunderschöne koloniale Altstadt, teils recht modern mit vielen Hochhäusern (und teils Barackensiedlung, aber da kommt man als Tourist eher nicht hin).
After another long and uncomfortable Bus ride, we arrived at the next destination: Cartagena de Indias, in the north of Colombia. A totally different world from the Andes mountains, with lots of colorful people, really high temperatures of both air and water and lots of ultramodern skyscrapers, but also a really beautiful old town in colonial style…
